Removing and installing/replacing left
hydraulic cylinder for convertible top
compartment lid
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Follow instructions for repairing hydraulic system.
•
Remove luggage compartment trim on left.
•
If necessary, remove holder for navigation computer.
•
If necessary, remove radio receiver.
Unfasten screws and remove bracket.
Installation:
Tightening
torque:
•
51 34 11AZ
Adjusting:
•
Check basic setting of convertible
top compartment lid.
•
Slide holder as far forward as
possible.
Convertible top compartment lid
must not rise.
•
Check convertible top compartment
lid transitions.
