Removing and installing or replacing rollover
bars on left or right
Warning!
Danger of injury!
When the actuators are electrically activated, there must be
no persons present in the vicinity of the rollover protection
bars.
When a rollover protection bar is mechanically triggered, only
one person may be present underneath the protection bar.
Caution!
Open convertible top. If necessary, remove hard top.
When the actuators are activated, both rollover protection
bars are simultaneously triggered.
Remove left and right head restraints.
Trigger rollover protection bar.
Removal of left rollover protection bar:
Remove transmit-receive unit.
Removal of right rollover protection bar:
Remove rollover sensor.
Unclip cover (1) inside rollover protection bar on left and right.
