Punching out positioning pin on shift rod joint
E46/S54 (SMG)
Situation:
Special tool 23 0 240 has been developed to punch out the positioning pin on the shift
rod joint.
This work is necessary when removing and installing the transmission and the gearshift
actuator.
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied to every contractual partner with a tools agreement. Please refer
to Enclosure 1.
