Removing and installing/sealing cylinder head
cover (N45T)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove heater bulkhead
•
Remove ignition coil cover
•
Remove ignition coils
Unscrew nuts (1).
Unlock and detach vent hose (2).
Unclip cable (3).
Unclip cable duct (4) and place to one side.
Remove screws and nuts.
Remove cylinder head cover (1).
Installation:
The cylinder head cover and its gasket are made from a single
material which adapts to the contour of the cylinder head.
The gasket and uncoupling elements of the screw connection are
matched to each other.
If the cylinder head cover was leaking, the fault can only be
rectified with a new cylinder head cover, new gasket and new
screw connections.
