3 Series E90 316i (N45T) SAL
Insert special tool 11 9 340 in cylinder head and bring adjusting
screw by hand on clamping rail into contact but do not pretension
timing chain yet.
Note:
Replace screws of exhaust and inlet adjustment unit.
Install screws of exhaust and inlet adjustment unit and then
tighten initially without play.
Fit special tool 11 7 260 as illustrated.
Align locating bores of sensor gears to alignment pins on special
tool 11 7 260 .
Secure sensor gears with special tool 11 7 260 .
Screw special tool 11 7 260 to cylinder head.
