Removing and installing/replacing coolant
thermostat (N45T)
Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove underbody protection
•
Drain and dispose of coolant.
•
Vent cooling system and check for water leaks
•
Refer to general instructions for working on cooling system
Unlock and detach coolant hose (1).
Release screws. Remove cap with coolant thermostat towards
bottom.
Tightening torque 11 51 5AZ
