Replacing pressure regulator on pressure
accumulator of injection system (N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory of DDE control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove acoustic cover
•
Remove all pressure lines
•
Remove pressure accumulator
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Installation:
Pressure regulator may only be used once!
Pressure regulator must be replaced (cutting seat gasket) after
screw connection has been released.
Positioning before final tightening!
Grip at hexagon head (1) when removing pressure regulator.
Release hexagon screw connection on pressure accumulator.
Installation:
Secure position of pressure regulator and grip at hexagon
fitting (2).
Tightening torque 13 53 3AZ
