Removing and installing/replacing vibration
damper (N47, N47S)
Special tools required:
•
11 8 181
•
11 8 182
•
11 8 183
•
11 8 185
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove fan cowl
•
Remove fan
•
Remove alternator drive belt
I-transmission:
Reposition special tool 11 8 181 on transmission (I-
transmission).
Fit special tool 11 8 183 at gearbox bolts (1).
Adjust special tool 11 8 182 at flywheel spline.
H-transmission:
Reposition special tool 11 8 181 on gearbox (H-transmission).
Fit special tool 11 8 183 and 11 8 185 at gearbox bolts (1).
Adjust special tool 11 8 182 at flywheel spline.
