3 Series E90 320i (N43) SAL
Replace seal (1).
Moisten inner wall (2) of pump carrier with engine oil.
Install high-pressure pump (1).
Note:
•
Alternately screw in bolts only a few turns at a time to prevent
the high-pressure pump twisting.
•
Screw in bolts only to such an extent that the high-pressure
pump can still be moved in direction of arrow.
Connect contact plug to high-pressure pump (1).
Install delivery line (1).
Important!
Connect pressure line (1) without tension only.
Nuts (3) must be able to be screwed on easily by hand.
If necessary, turn high-pressure pump (2) to align in direction
of arrow.
Tighten down bolts of high-pressure pump (1).
Note:
•
Evenly tighten bolts alternately to avoid the high-pressure
pump twisting!
•
Tightening torque 13 51 1AZ
