Installation
Installation of cylinder head is described separately from removal.
Clean sealing faces of cylinder head and engine block; if
necessary, remove traces of sealing compound with hardwood
spatula. Make sure no gasket remnants drop into oil and cooling
channels.
Note:
A non-return valve (1) and a spacer bushing (2) are installed in
the engine block at the 1st cylinder for both the inlet and exhaust
sides.
In event of heavy contamination:
Replace non-return valve (1) and spacer bushing (2).
Important!
Note installation direction of non-return valve (1).
Install non-return valve (1) and spacer bushing (2) as shown in
illustration.
Installation:
Spacer bushings (2) protrude slightly when installed.
Check adapter sleeves for damage and correct installation
position (see arrows).
