Replacing wiring harness section for
transmission/lambda (N46, N46T)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DME control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove microfilter housing
•
Disconnect battery
•
Follow instructions for removing and installing control units
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Unlock fasteners (1) from below and slide upwards approx.
10 mm.
Unlock locks (2) in direction of arrow.
Remove cover (3).
Unlock control unit (1) and raise slightly.
Unlock and detach plugs (2 and 3).
