Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil / water heat exchanger (M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove main flow oil filter
Important!
Risk of damage:
Protect alternator with suitable apparatus against engine oil.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of drained coolant.
Catch and dispose of escaping engine oil.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Release screws (1).
Remove oil-to-water heat exchanger (2) from oil filter
housing (3).
Installation:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace all profile seals.
