3 Series E90 335d (M57T2) SAL
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove intake air manifold.
•
Remove front splash guard.
•
Remove fan cowl.
•
Remove alternator drive belt.
•
Drain coolant from radiator.
•
Remove plastic return pipe.
Disconnect plug (1) at H.P. pump.
Detach fuel feed line (2).
Detach fuel return line (3).
Release high-pressure line union nut (4) with special tool
13 5 020 .
Installation:
Replace high-pressure line.
Tightening torque 13 53 8AZ
.
Open plug (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 11 14 4AZ
.
Replace sealing ring.
Apply light coat of oil to seal.
Slacken nut (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 13 52 2AZ
.
