Removing and installing/replacing fan cowl
with electric fan (N54)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DME control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove intake duct
•
Automatic only:
Remove underbody protection
Automatic only:
Release screw.
Detach cooler (1) for automatic transmission from fan cowl (2).
Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Unclip line (2) from fan cowl.
Detach cable strap (3).
Release screw.
Release charge-air duct (1) from rubber mount (2) on fan cowl.
