Removing and installing / replacing left or
right hinge for rear lid
Read contents of Body, General.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear window
•
Remove trim for rear window frame at top
•
Release roof trim panel in rear area
Refer to the description texts of the KSD CD (FRU 41 62 520)
for details of stripping-down and rigging work.
Close rear lid.
Release nuts (1).
Tightening torque 41 62 3AZ
.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ
.
Remove hinge (2).
Installation:
Before final assembly, apply sealing compound in areas (1).
Adjust rear lid on the basis of the E91 body gap dimensions.
