3 Series E91 320i (N43) TOUR
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release cable and connector from retaining plate (3).
Release screws (2).
Remove cover plate (4).
Tightening torque:24 00 4AZ
Release screws (1) and screws (2) and remove bracket (3).
Grip clamping sleeve (1).
Slacken nut (2).
Detach retainer (3) downwards using a screwdriver.
Pull cable (4) out of holder.
Installation:
Adjust selector lever
Supporting transmission:
With special tools 23 4 050 , 23 0 132 and 00 2 030
Support transmission from underneath.
Secure transmission with tensioning strap (1).
Tasks are described in Transmission bracket.
After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
