Release screw (1) on end fitting.
Tightening torque 72 12 05AZ
.
Release screw (2) on folding pack holder.
Tightening torques 72 12 04AZ
.
Folding pack holder (3) is screwed to trim for roof pillar at front.
Installation:
If screws (1...3) slip, coat them with Loctite.
If necessary, lever out clip-mounted holder.
Release screw (1) from folding pack holder.
Tightening torques 72 12 04AZ
.
Installation:
Coat screw (1) with Loctite if it slips.
Release screws (2) on C-pillar ramp (3).
Tightening torque 72 12 06AZ
.
Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.
Release screws (1) on B-pillar ramp.
Tightening torque 72 12 06AZ
.
Unscrew bolt (3).
Tightening torque 72 12 03AZ
.
Remove gas generator (5) with head airbag.
RA Removing and installing/replacing left or right head airbag
