Removing and installing/replacing CD
changer
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Note:
Follow instructions for handling fibre optic cables.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove CD magazine
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove luggage compartment trim on left.
Partially detach left wheel arch cover and press to one side.
Release screw (1).
Release screws (2) and remove CD changer with bracket (3).
Disconnect associated plug connection and unclip cable guide
from bracket (3).
Installation:
Make sure sheet metal nuts and CD changer are correctly seated.
Bracket fixture must be inserted in side panel.
