Belt hand-over hand loose

Situation:

In conjunction with the belt hand-over hand various function sequences and unwarranted
complaints may occur in the manufacturing periods listed below:

A)  Manufacturing period:Start of series production until 9 August 2006

Belt hand-over hand is completely unclipped and separated from the belt hand-over.

Note: 

This complaint can be rectified without removing the complete belt hand-over (see
"Action").

Manufacturing period: From 10 August 2006 until end of August 2007

Belt hand-over retracts to park position:

If the belt hand-over makes contact with any obstacle as it returns to the park position
(e.g. a finger), the mechanical unclipping function in the belt hand-over hand is
activated. This means that the belt hand-over hand is unclipped from the rack. In such
cases, the belt hand-over hand has to be manually pushed back onto the rack until it
engages.

Note: 

It should be explained to the customer that the partial disengaging of the belt hand-
over hand is a form of trap protection and does not constitute a functional fault.

Manufacturing period: from September 2007

Belt hand-over retracts to park position:

If the belt hand-over makes contact with any obstacle as it returns to the park
position (e.g. a finger), the electronic reversing function is activated and the belt
hand-over extends again by about 20 mm. In such cases, the belt hand-over will
make two more attempts with an interval of one second to move to the park
position. If it is still unable to return to the park position, the belt hand-over will
remain in reversal mode outside the park position. The belt hand-over will only
move back to the park position after a subsequent movement command (e.g.
from the door contact).

Belt hand-over extends:

If the belt hand-over makes contact with any obstacle as it extends (e.g. a
shoulder), the electronic reversing function is activated and the belt hand-over
move about 20 mm in the opposite direction. The belt hand-over will only move
to the park position after a subsequent movement command (e.g. from the door
contact).
