3 Series E92 316i (N43) COUPE
Remove upper screws of chain guide (1).
Note:
Chain guides (1) are locked with 4 lugs at the lower chain guide.
Carefully press lower chain guide apart and remove upper chain
guide (1).
Remove special tools 11 8 691 / 11 8 692 and 11 8 693 .
Release screws (1 and 2) between engine block and cylinder
head.
