Clean sealing face on crankcase lower half.

Replace seal (1).

Assemble engine.

Note:

Vehicles without dipstick:

Park vehicle on a horizontal surface.

Allow engine at normal operating temperature to run for 3

minutes with increased revs (min. 1000 / max. 1500 rpm).

Read off engine oil level in instrument cluster or on Control

Display.

Top up engine oil if necessary.
