Adjusting camshaft timing (N43)
Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Check camshaft timing.
Slacken screws of exhaust and inlet adjustment unit and then
reinstall without play.
Note:
Picture shows N46T.
Secure special tool 11 8 692 with special tool 11 8 693 to
cylinder head.
Position special tool 11 8 691 on twin surface of inlet and
exhaust camshafts.
If special tool 11 8 691 cannot be positioned, the camshaft can
be rotated into position at the twin surface.
