exhaust adjustment units (N43B16)

Important!
If the inlet or exhaust adjustment unit of the camshafts
"cannot" be locked, the adjustment unit is faulty and must be
replaced.
Release central bolt of adjustment unit with special tool
11 8 690 only.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove cylinder head cover.
•
Remove all spark plugs.
•
Check timing.
Slacken bolt (1) of inlet adjustment unit.
