3 Series E92 316i (N43) COUPE
Slacken bolt (1) of exhaust adjustment unit by a half turn.
Slacken bolt (2) of inlet adjustment unit by a half turn.
Fit socket on screws (1 and 2) and tighten by hand without
play.
Pretension clamping rail by turning adjusting screw with special
tool 00 9 250 or commercially available torque wrench to
0.6 Nm .
Tighten down bolt (1) of exhaust adjustment unit with special tool
00 9 120 .
Tightening torque 11 36 1AZ .
Tighten down bolt (2) of inlet adjustment unit with special tool
00 9 120 .
Tightening torque 11 36 1AZ .
Remove all special tools.
Assemble engine.
Bar engine at central bolt two times.
Check timing.
