3 Series E92 316i (N43) COUPE
Press locking catch (1) in direction of arrow and remove cable
duct (2) by pulling upward.
Follow the same procedure for the second cable duct.
Remove section of wiring harness for ignition coil.
Work step
Note:
Unlock plug on air-mass flow sensor and disconnect.
Unlock plug on throttle valve and disconnect
Unlock plug on DISA and disconnect
Unlock plug on differential pressure sensor and disconnect.
Unlock plug on blow-by heating fitting and disconnect
Unlock plug on A/C compressor and disconnect
Unlock plug on alternator and disconnect.
Unlock plug on tank venting valve and disconnect.
Unlock plug of crankshaft pulse generator and disconnect.
Unlock plug on oil pressure switch and disconnect.
Unlock plug on coolant temperature sensor and disconnect
Unlock plug on knock sensors and disconnect
Release control lines on starter motor.
Release connector at solenoid valve (crankcase) and unplug
Release connector at electric coolant pump and unplug
Release connector at coolant thermostat and unplug
Release connector at pulse generator for inlet camshaft and unplug
Release connector at pulse generator for exhaust camshaft and unplug
Release connector at both solenoid valves and unplug
Remove engine wiring harness
