Removing and installing/replacing all HVCA
(hydraulic valve clearance adjustment)
elements (S65)
Important!
Used HVCA elements may only be reused in the same
position.
Set HVCA elements down in a clean and orderly manner.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove inlet camshaft.
•
Remove exhaust camshaft.
Remove HVCA element (1) in upward direction.
Installation:
Turning lock (2) on cylinder head.
