Removing and installing/replacing vacuum
pump (S65)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read and comply with General Information.

Remove front left wheel

Important!

Before starting work, press the brake pedal to the floor several
times to reduce the vacuum pressure in the brake booster.
This makes it easier to detach the lines.

Release screws (1).

Press wheel arch cover (2) forwards slightly in direction of arrow.

Unlock quick-release fastener (2) and detach vacuum hose.

Disconnect plug connection (4).

Release nut (3) and pull vacuum pump (1) upwards out of
bracket.
