Ideal adjustment, longitudinal direction:

Side window glass (1) must be positioned at measurement (A)
to door window glass (2).

Measurement (A) = 11 

±

 1 mm

Parallelism deviation 

±

 1 mm.

Side window glass (1) may recede (B) max. 1 

±

1 mm from door

window glass (2).

Adjusting longitudinal direction:

Slacken screws (1) with special tool  51 3 310 .

Adjust longitudinal direction by moving side window glass (2).

Tightening torque 51 37 2AZ

.

Ideal adjustment, pretension:

Door window glass (2) must rest firmly on side window seal (3)
when hardtop is open.

It must be possible to pull out the paper strip with moderate friction
resistance.

Side window glass (1) must run into hardtop seals correctly when
hardtop is closed.

Adjusting pretension:

Turn adjusting screw (4) with special tool  51 2 220  until
pretension is reached.

Open door window and side window.

Close both windows simultaneously and check run-in of side
window glass to door window glass.

Close retractable hardtop.

Hardtop seals must not be damaged.

Check run-in of both windows in hardtop seals.
