Disassembling and assembling cylinder head
- cylinder head removed (N53)
Special tools required:
•
11 0 009
•
11 0 346
•
11 4 480
•
11 9 000
•
11 9 006
•
11 9 007
•
11 9 017
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove cylinder head.
•
Remove intake camshaft.
•
Remove exhaust camshaft.
Place cylinder head on special tool 11 9 000 .
Insert special tools 11 9 006 and 11 9 007 .
Remove all roller cam followers and hydraulic valve clearance
adjustment elements and place on special tool 11 4 480 in a
neat and orderly fashion.
Remove inlet valves with special tool 11 9 017 in conjunction
with 11 0 009 . Set down all removed parts on special tool
11 4 480 in a tidy and orderly fashion.
