3 Series E93 335i (N54) CONVER
Mark tensioning strap at deflection point (1).
Carefully open retainer (2) without damaging the tensioning
strap.
Installation:
Replace faulty retainer.
Feed tensioning strap (1) out of holder (3) on frame.
Open holder (3) and remove water drain hose (2).
Unclip metal retainer (1) from frame.
Feed water drain hose (2) out of frame.
Note:
A second person will be needed to help with the following work
steps for removing the roof shell in the middle.
