If these values are exceeded by
±
0.1 bar, if no pressure drop can
be established at 4000 rpm and if problems occur while the
vehicle is in motion, the metering unit must be replaced.
Replacing metering unit,
refer to 13 82 510
Checking for inner leak-tightness of CNG system
Switch off ignition.
Connect test adapter 13 8 025 to the metering unit and hold
hose down in a glass filled with water. No more than two bubbles
per second must rise.
- If there is a major leak (high outlet pressure), the high-pressure
non-return valve must be replaced.
- If there is only a slight leak, the complete low-pressure regulator
must be replaced.
