5 Series E34 525i (M50) SAL
Mounting engine on assembly stand (M50)
Unscrew exhaust manifold.
Unscrew nuts.
Lift off exhaust manifolds.
Installation:
Replace nuts.
Coat threads with copper paste, source of supply: HWB.
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data
Shorter manifold is at rear.
Installation:
Graphite surfaces of seals face the cylinder head.
Secure engine to special tool 00 1 490 (assembly frame) with
special tool 11 3 300 (retaining plate).
