5 Series E34 525i (M50) SAL
Tighten VANOS control unit.
Unlock secondary tensioner.
Note:
It is absolutely necessary to pull the chain into the root of teeth
on the sprockets for timing diagram adjustments since
introduction of rubber-lined sprockets.
Preload clamping rail with special tool 11 3 390 by rotating the
adjusting screw with special tool 00 2 050 or standard torque
wrench to torque of 1.3 Nm.
