5 Series E34 525i (M50) SAL
Unscrew bolts.
Remove cover.
Unscrew screw. Remove pulse generator.
Installation:
After assembly, make sure that the lead from the pulse sensor
does not contact the water pump drive gear.
M50 VANOS (= Variable camshaft control unit):
Unscrew oil pipe from VANOS control unit.
Installation:
Check sealing rings, replacing if necessary.
Unscrew bolts.
Remove earth tape (1) and suspension lug.
