5 Series E34 525ix (M50) SAL
Removing crankshaft (M50)
Replace crankshaft,
refer to 11 21 501
Remove main-bearing covers (1 ... 7) and lift out crankshaft.
Installation:
Check dowel sleeves.
Installation:
Bearing covers are marked with a cast 1 ... 7 on the "exhaust
side".
Installation:
Ensure that the oil spray jets are used at bearings 2 ... 7.
