Checking fuel delivery pressure (M51, M41)
M 41: The fuel pump relay is operated by the DDE control unit. If
problems arise when operating the relay, also read out the fault
memory of the DDE control unit. For additional troubleshooting,
refer to BMW DIS (section on operating components).
Compress retainer (pull out completely if applicable).
Pull off fuel pipe (3) behind filler.
Caution!
Catch fuel in a suitable container.
Install special tool 16 1 300 between pipe (3) and filter housing.
BMW DIS: Connect special tool 16 1 300 to special tool 13 6
053 and special tool 13 6 051.
