Measurement procedure with pressure sensor of DIS Tester:

Cut through fuel hose (feed) roughly in middle of hose length.
Install special tool 13 6 057 between both ends of fuel feed
hose.

Connect special tool 13 6 057 (T-piece) to special tool
13 6 055 (reducer) and special tool 13 6 051 (hose with quick-
release coupling).

Connect special tool 13 6 051 with quick-release coupling to
pressure sensor (1) of DIS Tester.

Measuring fuel pressure:

Connect pressure sensor to DIS Tester.

- 

Start engine.

- 

Select measuring option.

- 

Multimeter function appears.

- 

Select pressure test.

- 

Read off fuel pressure.

Test pressure,

refer to Technical Data.

Switch off engine.

Checking fuel pump:

Fold right side trim in trunk to one side. The relay bracket is
installed above the battery.

Remove fuel pump relay (2).

Check whether during engine starting sequence fuel pump no
longer starts up and engine does not start.
