bypass screws as far as they will go. Switch off ignition, then
disconnect DME control unit for 2 minutes (reset the adaptation
values).
Note:
Observe CO values in each case over a longer period of time.
Fluctuation in the measuring value on individual cylinders of
±
0.25 vol.

is normal. The key value is the mean or average
figure.
Measure CO values of cylinders 1...6 again and write down CO
values. The bypass screw of the cylinder with the lowest CO value
remains closed during the entire synchronization process. This
value increases automatically when the other cylinders are
adjusted.
Continually match the CO values of the other cylinders in small
steps (max. 1/2 turn of the bypass screw at the start of
adjustment).
Caution!
The nearer the adjustment value of the cylinders is reached,
continue adjusting only in max. 1/10 turns. The aim is to
achieve uniformity for all the cylinders.
Aim for the same value over all cylinders.
Specified value 0.8 - 1.2 vol.

Caution!
Keep repeating control check on other cylinders since all
cylinders affect each other reciprocally.
