Detach pipe for exhaust gas recirculation from exhaust manifold.

Remove rubber gaiter (1).

Remove sealing cover (1) for heat shield. Unclip plug (2).

Release screw connection of exhaust manifold to turbocharger.

Installation:

Replace seal.

Coat screw threads with copper paste -CRC-.

Tightening torque, 11 65 1AZ.
