5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Replace sealing ring.
Install screw plug and tighten down.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 14 4AZ.
Slacken chain wheel screw (2) on exhaust chain wheel again by
a half turn.
Note:
When tightening camshaft screw connection, grip camshafts
at hexagon drive.
Tighten down inlet chain wheel with special tool 00 9 120 .
Tightening specifications,
refer to Technical Data 11 31 4AZ.
Align exhaust camshaft and locate with special tool 11 6 320 in
firing TDC position of first cylinder.
