5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Release hose clamps (1).
Push hose (2) onto oil return line.
Release screw and remove turbocharger.
Installation:
Clean sealing faces on exhaust manifold.
When replacing turbocharger:
Release screw (1) on oil pressure line (2).
Tightening torque, 11 65 7AZ.
Installation:

Replace seals.

Oil pressure line (2) must be installed parallel to
turbocharger housing.
Convert oil pressure line (2) to new turbocharger.
Release screws (1) on oil return line (2).
Installation:
Replace seal.
Convert oil return line (2) to new turbocharger.
Convert pressure converter (3) to new turbocharger.
