Removing and installing/replacing air-mass
flow sensor (M47)
Release screws.
Remove acoustic cover (1).
Illustration shows snorkel removed, actual removal not necessary.
Release screws and detach intake snorkel.
Tightening torque, 13 62 8AZ.
Disconnect plug connection from air-mass flow sensor.
Release screws (1) and remove air-mass flow sensor.
Tightening torque, 13 62 7AZ.
Read out fault memory of DDE control unit, check stored fault
messages. Rectify faults, clear fault memory.
