Replacing left or right tie rod (Basis)
Caution!
After assembly, realign front axle,
refer to 32 00 610.
Remove front wheel,
refer to 36 10 300.
Unfasten nut.
Installation:
Use washer (1). Tapered spigot and bore both free of grease.
Replace self-locking nut. Brace on hexagon socket if
necessary.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 32 21 3AZ.
Pull off tie rod with special tool 31 2 240.
