5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Weld connection point for support carrier, rear wheel arch / D-
pillar.
Grind welding spots until smooth.
Install reinforcement for side section.
Mark connection point of
reinforcement for side section / outer wheel arch (1),
reinforcement for side section / door window (2),
reinforcement for side section / support carrier, rear wheel arch (3)
and reinforcement for side section / D-pillar (4).
Remove reinforcement for side section.
Clean marked connection points on reinforcement for side section
and outer wheel arch and coat with zinc dust paint.
Install and secure reinforcement for side section.
Weld connection point of
reinforcement for side section / outer wheel arch (1),
reinforcement for side section / door window (2),
reinforcement for side section / support carrier, rear wheel arch (3)
and reinforcement for side section / D-pillar (4).
RA Replacing complete rear left wheel arch (side wall removed) (touring)
