Unscrew screw.

Unfasten upper retaining screws on side panel.

Secure hood lid in such a way that windshield and adjacent body
sections are not damaged.

If necessary, mark at position of hood lid hinge.

Unfasten screws (1 and 2).

Note:

Note washers under the retaining screws in the side panel.

Take off side panel.

Installation:

Fit in side panel and make sure of uniform spacing to door
and hood lid. 

Check that gasket in side panel is correctly located.

Check adjustment of hood lid and adjust hood lid if necessary,

refer to 41 61 014
