5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
When closing the rear window frame, ensure that the striker (1) is
centered in the middle in the rotary latch in the lower section of the
lock (2).
Gap (A) the same on both sides.
Open trunk lid.
Tighten screws on lower section of lock back down.
When closing the rear window frame, ensure that there is a gap of
approx. 1 mm between the striker (1) and the rotary latch (2) in the
lower section of the lock (2).
Change position of striker accordingly.
Close rear window frame.
Note:
Do not alter inclination of striker (4) when tightening.
Make sure the moulded section (2) rests correctly against the
contact surface (3).
Open rear window frame.
Tighten lock nut (1).
