5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Remove rear right shock absorber:
Open and remove lid (1). Hook cover (2) and spare wheel recess
onto seal.
Unfasten screw (3) and turn subwoofer speaker (4) toward front.
Lift insulating mat (1) and unfasten nut (2). Unfasten bolt (3) and
take off bracket (4).
Unfasten nuts (1) and take off cover (2) upward.
Pull off cover (1) upward and remove cover (2).
RA Replacing one shock absorber for rear bumper (touring)
