5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Detach foam rubber sealing washers (1) from threads (2).
Detach decorative strip (3) completely from railing (4) and place
on a clean surface.
Installation:
Place new foam rubber sealing washers (1) on bores (2) of roof
outer skin.
Installation:
Replace defective clips (1) on roof outer skin if necessary.
Installation:
Slide decorative strip (1) at front into seal (2). clip in at rear flush
with edge (3) and then clip in the rest.
RA Removing and installing/replacing left or right roof railing (touring)
