Removing and installing/replacing hydraulic
cylinder for rear lid (electrohydraulic/fully
automatic) (Touring)
Follow instructions for automatic rear lid actuation
(electrohydraulic).
Refer to 51 24 ...
Removing roofliner.
Remove gas spring strut for rear window.
Lever out rubber grommet (1) with hydraulic hoses (2).
Using an installation iron (1), unclip hydraulic cylinder (2) towards
top.
Note:
There is a chamfer (3) for clipping the hydraulic cylinder (2) in
and out.
Installation:
Using an installation iron (1), clip in hydraulic cylinder (2) towards
bottom.
