5 Series E39 520d (M47) TOUR
Pull out luggage compartment loading floor (1) (approx. 20 mm)
until screws (2) on outside left/right are accessible.
Press left/right roller blocks (on sides) (1) together by hand and
center. The luggage compartment loading floor (2) must show a
lateral clearance (A) here (quality impression).
Lateral clearance (A) = 0.2 mm to 1 mm.
Tighten left/right screws (3) (8.5 Nm).
Adjust longitudinal clearance (B):
Slide in luggage compartment loading floor (1) completely
(locked).
Slide both side rails (1) fully towards rear against luggage
compartment loading floor (2).
Longitudinal clearance (B) should be as little as possible.
